What I Offer

Massage therapy is a hands-on treatment performed by a trained and certified professional that focuses on the soft tissues of the body—your muscles, connective tissue, tendons, ligaments, and skin. Using a variety of techniques, pressure, and movements, massage is designed to support both your physical and mental well-being. While research on massage is still growing, many studies suggest it may help with concerns such as anxiety, stress-related insomnia, headaches, low back pain, nerve pain, sports injuries, jaw pain (TMJD), digestive issues, and chronic tension in the neck and upper back.

  • Relaxation massage uses long, smooth, flowing strokes to help your body and mind unwind. The main goal is to calm your nervous system, reduce stress, and promote an overall sense of peace and well-being. This style of massage focuses less on working out deep knots and more on helping you fully relax and recharge.

  • Therapeutic massage is a broad term that refers to any massage technique used to address specific concerns such as pain, injury, or postural imbalances. This may include issues like plantar fasciitis, tendonitis, frozen shoulder, or general muscle discomfort. While therapeutic massage is sometimes assumed to mean deep or intense pressure, that isn’t always the case. Each session is tailored to your individual needs, using the techniques and pressure that will be most effective and comfortable for you

  • Deep tissue massage is often mistaken for simply using very firm pressure, but it’s really about working thoughtfully with the deeper layers of muscle and connective tissue. This type of massage can be especially helpful for breaking down scar tissue, improving circulation, and relieving chronic tension. However, deeper work doesn’t always mean harder pressure. Addressing the surface layers first is essential, and sometimes a lighter, more precise approach is exactly what your body needs. The goal is always to apply the right techniques and pressure to best support your healing on that day.

  • CranioSacral Therapy (CST) is a gentle, hands-on approach that releases tensions deep in the body to relieve pain and dysfunction and improve whole-body health and performance. Using a soft touch which is generally no greater than 5 grams - about the weight of a nickel - practitioners release restrictions in the soft tissues that surround the central nervous system. CST is increasingly used as a preventive health measure for its ability to bolster resistance to disease, and it's effective for a wide range of medical problems associated with pain and dysfunction.

  • Item descriptionOrthopedic massage is a type of injury rehabilitation that focuses on the muscles, joints and soft tissues surrounding joints. The aim of orthopedic massage is to relieve pain while restoring balance to the tissues and create a fuller range of motion.

*This modality training is incorporated into each treatment as necessary to achieve the goals the client is looking for.
